Doctor en Derecho por la Universidad de Valladolid (2007) y Diploma de especialización en Derecho Constitucional y Ciencia Política del Centro de Estudios Políticos y Constitucionales (2001).
Profesor de Derecho Constitucional de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (desde 2008) y anteriormente de la Universidad de Valladolid (2004-2008). Es secretario de la Revista Española de Derecho Europeo.
